PSAT/NMSQT 2025: Score Release 

Students will have access to their PSAT/NMSQT starting on November 6th, 2025. Students will be able to access their scores in one of two ways: through a College Board account OR through the BigFuture School app for students who provided a mobile phone number on test day.  Please use the following resources to learn more about understanding your student's score.

Summary of SAT Scores
The SAT and PSAT Consist of 2 Sections: 
  • Reading and Writing: 54 Questions, 64 Minutes
  • Mathematics: 44 Questions, 70 Minutes 
**The School Day SAT also included an essay
Each Section Includes 2 Modules: 
  • Module 1: Easy, Medium, and Hard Questions
  • Module 2: Adaptive, Based on Progress in Module 1 

Getting to Know the Digital SAT/PSAT

The Digital SAT/PSAT Includes...
  • Shorter passages
  • 1 Question per passage
  • Calculators are allowed on ALL sections 
  • Graphing calculator provided by Bluebook
    • Students can also bring their own 
  • Common formulas provided 
  • Math - Multiple choice and student response
Students will use Bluebook, the College Board testing application, to take the PSAT/SAT. Bluebook is an application that has already been added to our students' Chromebooks. Bluebook includes various testing tools that will enhance the testing experience: 
  • Calculator 
  • Reference Sheet - Common Formulas 
  • Countdown Clock
  • Mark for Review

  • Answer Eliminator 
  • Annotation Tool 
  • Question Menu
  • Zoom
Bluebook also offers students a test preview and full length practice in order to prepare for the PSAT/SAT.

BigFuture School 

BigFuture School is a new mobile app to help students plan for the future. In addition, students can sign up to receive their scores through the app, and then college and career guidance is provided. 

Once scores are available, the BigFuture School app provides the following resources: 
  • Customized career information and guidance about college
  • Connections - A feature that allows students to hear from nonprofit colleges and scholarship programs

College Board and Khan Academy
SAT/PSAT partners with Khan Academy to provide support to students based on their scores and progress.  Khan Academy will retire the old SAT Practice Experience, and students will now be able to utilize Khan Academy’s Official Digital SAT Prep courses, developed in partnership with College Board. 

The two Official Digital SAT Prep courses (Math and Reading and Writing) will provide students the opportunity to do the following: 
  • Read articles, watch videos, and work on thousands of practice exercises for every skill evaluated in the tests.
  • Take quizzes, unit tests, and course challenges to track and prove your mastery level in all skills.
  • Track both time spent on SAT prep and mastery data for all of the different skills in each Digital SAT course
